I pledge to ensure the School Board fulfills its obligation to set our children up for success following graduation regardless of whether they seek employment, higher education or enter the military.
- Remove all External Politics from the Classroom including CRT and Gender Studies
- Zero Tolerance for Bullying
- Require students to take a course on the U. S. Constitution
- Respect and Recognize all Parental Rights
- Return to traditional methods of teaching Math and Reading
- Ensure Teachers have the tools and support they require
- Create Anonymous Complaint Line for Parents, Students, and Staff
- Bring increased transparency, integrity, and accountability to School-Board
- Make School-Board meetings more accessible for parents
- Create a Bonus Program for Teachers who are Exceptional
About David
Dave Hudson is a resident of Belhaven, North Carolina and a candidate for the Beaufort County Board of Education, District 3 position. A conservative, unaffiliated candidate, Dave wants to bring increased transparency, integrity and accountability to the Beaufort County School Board utilizing more open and effective communication and community involvement. He has three children currently attending Beaufort County public schools and one child who graduated in 2021 and therefore, has a vested interest in the success of our county schools. He believes our priority must be ensuring that Beaufort County students receive the highest quality education possible. It is the duty of the School Board to provide our administrators, teachers, faculty, and staff members with the tools and support they require to accomplish this goal. Deeds, not words, should be the scale by which this is judged.

Dave believes all external politics should be removed from the classroom. He believes our children should only be learning what makes us all the same as Americans and not what focuses on our differences. Dave will work to ensure the School Board fulfills its obligation to set our children up for success following graduation regardless of whether they seek employment, higher education or enter the military. The success of Beaufort County and our nation’s future depends on the foundation we provide for our children today, who will be working and leading our country tomorrow.
Dave is co-owner of HudsonMann Publishing LLC where he helps independent authors, whether new or established, publish their original works and places them in front of readers worldwide. He previously worked as a business leader for over seventeen years at HudsonMann, Inc., an organization that provided training, consulting services, and outsourcing to the federal contracting community.
Prior to joining HudsonMann, Dave spent five years as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army. He also served seven years in the Air Force Reserve as an Intelligence Officer with the 315th Airlift Wing supporting C-17 airlift operations worldwide.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and History from The Citadel.
